Mixing alcohol and cannabis increases the intensity of both. That being said, mixing them in high doses can be dangerous and can cause anxiousness and vomiting.

CBD beverages on the other hand have more freedom when it comes to ingredients. CBD is sourced from hemp and is very low in THC content. Consuming large quantities will not make you feel “high”. Unlike THC-infused drinks, this makes CBD-infused beverages compatible with beer and spirits. Hemp and beer actually go well together because cannabis and hops are in the same plant family.

Although CBD will not get you “high” it may make you feel tired and relaxed. With any cannabis product, practice moderation especially with others and if you’re planning to drive, avoid THC, or plan an Uber/Lyft ride.
