Where to find us
Is there a dispensary in downtown Redmond?
Yes. Origins Cannabis is on Cleveland Street in the heart of downtown Redmond, at the corner of Cleveland St and 164th Ave NE, next to Prime Steakhouse and directly across from Tipsy Cow. It opened in 2017 and is also the company’s head office. It is a walkable stop rather than a strip mall run, which is unusual for an Eastside dispensary.
The store is a short walk from the Downtown Redmond light rail station on the Sound Transit 2 Line, so you can reach it from Bellevue, Overlake and the Microsoft campus without driving. Coming from SR 520, exit at Redmond Way and turn onto Cleveland St. From Marymoor Park and the Sammamish River Trail, the store is a few minutes north on foot or by bike.

Inside the Redmond store
What the Redmond store is like
The Redmond store is a walkable stop in the middle of downtown rather than a strip mall run, and the building makes it easy to combine with another errand: a bicycle and outdoor gear shop and a coffee roastery share the space. There is a separate express pickup counter, so online orders do not wait behind the main line.
Redmond also has the widest certified medical consultant coverage of the two stores, five days a week, which matters if you are shopping to a specific routine.
It does not feel like a queue. There is an education library rather than a waiting room, so you can sit down, read, ask questions and take your time before you decide anything. Cannabis Guides work the floor rather than the till, and they are trained on effects, dosages and terpene science. Ask the basic question. Ask the complicated one.
The way the team puts it is that customers get treated like family: no gimmicks, no distractions, and no pressure to buy.

Know the law
How much cannabis can you buy in Washington?
Washington sets a possession limit that works as a per transaction purchase limit. Adults 21 and over may buy and possess the amounts in the left column. Patients registered in the Washington DOH medical cannabis authorization database may hold three times those amounts.
| Product type | Adults 21+ | DOH registered patients |
|---|---|---|
| Flower | 1 oz (28g) | 3 oz (84g) |
| Concentrate | 7g | 21g |
| Solid edible | 16oz | 48oz |
| Liquid edible or beverage | 72oz | 216oz |
Cannabis bought in Washington must stay in Washington, and it cannot be consumed in public, in a vehicle or on the store premises. Bring a valid government issued photo ID every visit, whatever your age.
DOH medical endorsement
Medical cannabis in Redmond
Origins Redmond is medically endorsed, so you do not need to be registered to shop, but registering changes what you pay. Patients 18 and over entered in the Washington DOH database can buy up to three times the recreational limit and save up to 47% through Washington tax relief.
Redmond has the widest medical consultant coverage of the two stores: Sunday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday and Tuesday 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Thursday and Friday 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Certified medical consultants can register you with the DOH in store and talk through dosing and product formats at no charge.
New to Origins
What to expect on your first visit
Our team meets you at the door, helps you understand the store and the menu, and keeps the pace easy, whether you already know what you want or have no idea where to start.
Expect a few questions about what you are looking for and what you want to spend, then we will help you find the right quality and quantity for your budget.
The menu carries a broad and constantly changing lineup of brands, products, formats and price points, so you have real choices rather than whatever is easiest to sell.
They listen, explain what is new, and help you find something that actually fits what you are looking for. Cannabis keeps evolving, and there is always something worth discovering.

Order online for express pickup
Browse real time Redmond inventory on the online menu, reserve what you want and collect at the express pickup counter. Orders are held for the rest of the business day, payment happens in store, and ID is checked at collection.
